Review: The Dimitrakos Proposition

The Dimitrakos Proposition

Author: Lynne Graham
Publisher: Harlequin/Harlequin Presents
Date of Publication: December 17, 2013
Description:

DimiA man she can’t say “no” to

Sharp-tongued, independent firestorm Tabby Glover will do anything to get Greek billionaire Acheron Dimitrakos to support her adoption claim over his cousin’s small child. The last thing she expects is his outrageous marriage proposal!

She has no choice but to say yes, even if the arrogant tycoon can’t stop looking down his nose at her for one minute! Tabby can see that there is more to this proposition and this devastatingly handsome man than meets the eye. But as the thin veil between truth and lies is lifted, will this marriage become more than in name only?

My Thoughts:

Ugh. I really, really didn’t care for this book for some reason. I think Ash was never fully redeemed for being the jerk he starts out as. He’s dismissive, rude, and snobbish. I don’t care how rich he is, he treats Tabby like crap, was dismissive about the fact that he was named a child’s guardian for months until Tabby comes to him, and so on.

Tabby – grrrr. Such a freaking doormat. She took his treatment and even if it got better toward the end, she still should slugged him a few times.

There’s not much more I can, or will, say about this. I’m surprised, because I’m generally very favorable toward Ms. Graham’s work. Just for some reason, this book set my teeth to grinding.

Book provided by NetGalley in exchange for an honest review.
