Six Sentence Sunday (10/21/12) – #sixsunday

Good morning everyone, and welcome back for another exciting installment of Six Sentence Sunday. Don’t forget to check out the other participants HERE.

Today’s entry comes from (shock of shocks) Prophecy of Blood. Chris just had a panic attack and has fled outside. Jordan’s watching safely from inside, away from the sunlight, and has an unexpected moment of longing.

Well beyond the rim of sunlight that made it past the sliding glass door, Jordan watched Chrissy commune with the sunlight and knew a surprising pang of envy. It suited her, golden light kissing her features. Heโ€™d been locked away from the height of the day for a thousand years now, never really missed it. Heโ€™d made his choice, delighted in being a member of the Blood with all the power and longevity that came with it. And yet, here he stood, watching her and longing for something heโ€™d never known he might want again.

At least the privacy wall around her lanai kept any  pesky neighbors from noticing the sunbathing vampire.

And there you have it! Now for other news.

One hundred ninety-eight seasons after the mushroom-shaped clouds first blossom to poison the humans of the Rising Sun, near the beginning of the Season of Inundation, Atlantis will return.

With those words ringing in their ears, vampires Christine Javert and Jordan MacNaught find themselves in a race against time to stop the return of Atlantis. As they hunt for the deadly Ares, they discover his plots to incite a world-wide species war are in fact diversion from his far more sinister plans for the humans.

Yup, Prophecy of Blood was accepted officially, contract signed and I am currently waiting on cover art. The above is my tentative blurb for the book.

Tomorrow on Word-Slingers, I will be interviewing KaSonndra Leigh.

This week on the Dream-Walker War Tour, I will be three places: 10/22 http://ramblingsfromthischick.blogspot.com/, 10/24 for a review http://starrynightbookreviews.blogspot.com.au/, and and interview on 10/26 at http://tbrtheblog.blogspot.com/.  Hope to see you guys around! Don’t forget, the tour has a Rafflecopter give away for a $25 gift card and copies of both Rage & Rising!
