Six Sentence Sunday (10/14/12) – #sixsunday

Happy Sunday, everyone! Still holding on Prophecy, but this time it’s for the contract to show up. πŸ™‚ So a few months from now, I’ll have another book out! Woohoo!

In honor of that, my entry for SSS is part of the prophecy that inspired the name of the book. It comes from the first chapter of the book, so I don’t think it’s a huge spoiler. πŸ™‚

One hundred ninety-eight seasons after the mushroom-shaped clouds first blossom to poison the humans of the Rising Sun, near the beginning of the Season of Inundation, Atlantis will return.

Only one with the blood of the unliving, the mighty Aketh, and the mage-born may work the magic to summon the Lost Island. Only one with so many mixed bloodlines may pierce the veil behind which Dread Atlantis lurks.

One chance exists to return the island behind the veil, ne’er to threaten the safety of this world.

Five lines of magic remained when Atlantis disappeared. Five points to the star, with a walker of dreams descended from the royal house standing in the center to balance and shape the magic.

And there you have it. Don’t forget to check out the many other wonderful entries in the Six Sentence fun by going HERE for the main list.

I will be interviewing Nikki Prince tomorrow here on the blog. I had a chance to critique part of her recent release, Demon Mine, so I’m really happy to host her.

For stops on the Dream-Walker War tour, I will be spotlighted at Page Flippers on Monday, Dara pops in to talk about Blood Rage along with reportedly a review of the book (Brunette Librarian) and a guest post (Sarah Carr’s blog) on Tuesday, a spotlight at A Passion for Romance on Thursday, and finally an interview at W. Lynn Chantale’s blog on Friday. Whew! What a week. Hope to see you guys around.

Don’t forget, each stop comes with a chance to get Raffle Copter entries for my blog-wide giveaway of a gift card and copies of both Blood Rage and Blood-Mage Rising!
