I can’t remember a time when I wasn’t writing something. It’s in my blood. I have to write. I love it. When I go too long without doing it, I tend to get a little cranky.
As a Write at Home Mom, I feel like I’m juggling a million balls in the air at once. I recently gave birth to a beautiful baby boy. He’s just adorable. I also have a mini diva 8 year old girl who keeps me on my toes with school, girl scouts, sports, etc… Then, of course there is my hubby. At times I think he’s my 3rd child. Moms, you know what I’m talking about there… So, taking care of family is my primary job, but that doesn’t mean that I treat writing as anything less than a job. I’m obsessive about making sure that the product I put out (my books) are as good as I can make them before they are released to the public. That means along with my momma duties I’m also: writer, publisher, project coordinator (working with freelance editors, cover artists, etc…), and marketing manager for my company Rising Sign Books.
To put it simply, I’m busy. But I’m not the best juggler so I tend to forget things and then frantically get to them to meet deadlines. LoL.
At the end of Pandora’s Box (Book three in the Immortalis series) I left readers with a question, “Is Lysander truly dead, or can he be saved?” Everyone in the small vampire clan is ready to give up, feeling Lysander is lost forever to the mysterious confines of the Soulstone, but Alyssa believes there might be a way to save him.
Lysander is the mate of rookie vampire extraordinaire, Alyssa. In all her limited vampire existence, she’s been the one causing all of the trouble, but this time she’ll have to be the one taking charge and leading the clan toward a solution.
Of course, nothing can be simple in Alyssa’s world. In her fervor to find a solution she inadvertently alerts the Acta Sanctorum (fanatical religious group of hunters), and they immediately set out to eradicate the supernatural presence in Boston.
Before Lysander can be saved, the rest of the supernaturals; witches, werewolves, and the small vampire clan, will have to band together to take care of the Saints and their threat.
Paranormal is fun! Not only do you get the steamy romance, but you get to play with creatures that “go bump in the night.” What more could you want? Wink Wink.
I do play around with Erotica every now and again. If you’re interested, check out House of Immortal Pleasures, a sexy little short about a Brothel run by vampires!
The Saints converge on the city and begin their cleansing crusade to rid the world of all things “Unnatural.” In the middle of an all-out war, but no closer to a solution to the dying stone, Alyssa is left with an unenviable choice: save her mate, or save her clan.
