Happy Easter Everyone!
Welcome to the Easter Sunday edition of Six Sentence Sunday. Unfortunately as my WIPs all seem to take place in late summer/early autumn, I have no appropriate clips. Instead, I’m including the squiblet from Chapter Three of Blood-Mage Rising, in preparation for its release on Thursday (Woot Woot!). Allegedly, this squiblet comes from a Magic 201 class handout. Hehe.
Binding Curses: Never invoke one without having the particulars written down in detail, and have an attorney or competent curse-mage review the details, so you know precisely what you’re agreeing to. If a condition of the curse is breached, body boils and eyes leaking blood will be the least of the breaching party’s problems.
These curses are not for the faint of heart. Once sealed, a binding curse cannot be cancelled or revoked. The aforementioned penalties will take place if any of the conditions are not met. See page 498 in the course book.
And there you have it!
Just a few things. One – if you haven’t yet checked them out and are curious, here are Part I and Part II of Chapter One from Blood-Mage Rising.
Today is the last day to comment on my Hoppy Easter post for a chance to win e-copies of both Blood Rage and Blood-Mage Rising!
I’ll be announcing the winner of Denise Swank’s prize (sorry for the delay) tomorrow.
Tomorrow is the last day to comment on Lorraine Nelson’s post for a chance to win one of her cowboy books!
