Welcome back to another wild Six Sentence Sunday. This week, the squiblet comes from the opening of Chapter Six, and is supposed to be a column done by Liaison Dara MacKechnie in Vampire Weekly magazine.
Another summer is here. I would like to remind the Blood that just because we have equal rights to have a job, we of the Blood are not suited for all jobs. For example, every year there is at least one attempt at a discrimination claim for failure to hire a member of the Blood as a lifeguard.
I don’t care how young you are; vampires are not capable of being out in the direct sunlight for eight hours.
Please, as a personal favor, stop embarrassing us and trying to game the system with these pointless suits. The economy’s bad, but there are other jobs out there, ones that don’t involve spontaneous combustion.
And there you have it. There are tons of other entries in the Six Sentence Sunday fun. Check them out at the official website and enjoy!
Don’t forget tomorrow is the last day to comment on Nana Malone’s guest post for a chance to win a copy of her superhero book! You can earn an extra chance if you tweet about the contest (don’t forget to include @torymichaels so I see the tweet and can record chances appropriately).
